I have been going between the two for quite some time now and it's time to simplify my life. I like that site better because you can see the images in a larger format.

ALSO... my price will be $75 STARTING NOVEMBER 15th. My desire is to always stay affordable. For this price, I will meet you on location, take pictures, edit them and give you a disk for printing. THIS DISK INCLUDES MY FAVORITES FROM THE SHOOT. I will give you ALL OF THE GOOD ONES.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY ALL THE IMAGES (the ones that didn't make the "cut") which usually is over 300 shots, you can purchase those for an additional $25.00.

This sweet family has had a BUSY week. They will be moving BACK to K-Town and have been looking for a house this week. After a busy day of house hunting, they had a photo shoot. Even the little one had to wake up early from a nap to come take pictures... all that... and THEY STILL LOOK GREAT! Hope you guys have a great rest of the week!

I was not the "official" photographer at Justin and Kristin's wedding. The photographer was so sweet to let me take pictures with her. I was just having fun! The photographer's work is amazing and her spirit is full of KINDNESS! I really enjoyed her! Thanks Denise for being so giving ... You amaze me!

I wish I would have captured Kristin and Justin's emotion when she was walking down the aisle. They were both bawling. It was precious. They are IN LOVE. It was an amazing wedding!

It's such a beautiful time to take pictures! I had a great time out at this family's farm ... capturing their precious family. It won't be long until they have a new addition to their family... a little girl from Ethiopia!

Senior '09

I'm blown away by the talent of the students I have been taking pictures of. This high school senior hasn't been playing guitar too long but I would have never known. I was impressed with his playing! He's also an athlete. High school ... FUN TIMES!

All The Way From Texas...

This family is dear to my heart. This is one of my closest friends... Amanda. She lived here in K-Town for 4 years and then after her husband was finished getting his doctorate at UT, they moved to Texas for him to be a professor. She is such a NEAT lady. She loves the Lord, her family and is a wonderful friend. I was so excited to meet their newest addition, Halle.

New Location...

My friend has the most beautiful land. She lives on a farm in West Knoxville. She is so generous and is letting me use her farm as a new location! THANKS AMY!
These precious girls are all sisters. They are 3 of 5 children. These dresses were made out of a quilt that belonged to their great grandmother. HOW NEAT IS THAT? These pictures are a surprise for Christmas for their grandmother. These girls are dear to my heart... they are some of my daughters best buds. Aren't they gorgeous??

My pictures turned out great. Tracie spent a lot of time with us, capturing many different posses. We took our pictures at Cove Park and it was a beautiful setting. I really enjoyed having pictures taken outside rather than a studio with props. She provided us with a disk of all of our photos that we could print out ourselves. Our first photo shoot with Tracie was wonderful to say the least. I was most impressed with the fact that she asked me if there were specific pictures or shots that I wanted; then she let my children play and just be themselves with no time limit involved. I wasn't sure what to expect since my daughter was only three months old and not sitting up or smiling much. Tracie was so creative and had great ideas using different blankets and baskets. She was also very patient with us and even let us take a time out for a much needed feeding/diaper change. I can't wait to use her for our little girl's next photos!

Ancelet Photography News...

HELLO! Just wanted to post about my openings for October. For those of you that are thinking of doing pictures and are wondering what I have available the next few weeks ... I have these dates as of right now...

TOMORROW - Friday Oct 3rd - evening
Tuesday - Oct 7th - evening
Sunday - Oct 12th -evening
Monday - Oct 13th - evening
Thursday - Oct 16th - evening
Sunday - Oct 19th - evening

We usually start at 5:30pm or 6pm and I will take 1 to 2 hours (depending on the number of people) per shoot. We can discuss location. I have several different places I like but I also am willing to go to your favorite location as well.

My prices are $50 ... and that is just a ONE TIME FEE. I will give you ALL the "good" images on CD once I edit them. I can refer you to a lab here in town that does VERY REASONABLE prints (very comparable to prices at Walgreens, etc). Their work is amazing!!!

General's Family :-)

HOW FUN! I've never had a dog come to a photo shoot and you can't get much sweeter than this dog... General. How cute is he? Well, he is as sweet as his owners... what a kind family!

Happy Fall Yall

I did a little practice on my kids today... they actually let me! We went to a pumpkin stand on our side of town. This lady has it set up every year and it is SO CUTE. Everything is so reasonably priced there. We left with a little scarecrow and a tiny bale of hay.
I also set up a little shoot in my front yard. That worked out well too.

Family Fun!

These BEAUTIFUL little girls have lots of energy! I had fun chasing them around at the park tonight. I appreciate their parents being so patient with all the different locations we tried out at the park. What a sweet family! I enjoyed my time with you guys!

If You're Happy and You Know It...

This adorable toddler and her mom met me out at the Gardens... When her mom sang "If You're Happy and You Know It" she would just smile and clap. TOO CUTE! Isn't she a doll?

Spontaneous!

This was not a planned photo shoot... just kind of happened tonight. My buddy Emily's little boy is 6 months old. We were out at the park having a party for some friends that are moving and we did a little "impromptu shoot". FUN STUFF!

And we had to get ONE picture of big brother. BIG BROTHER NEEDED TO GET BACK TO PLAYING!

BACK FROM VACATION!

My family just went on a one week vacation. It was MAGICAL... guess where we went?
Well, this precious family went with us. On our way to Orlando, we made a little detour to the beach to take some family shots!

I met this family out at the Cove for pictures. What a sweet family. I loved hearing their little "A" talk to the ducks. It was adorable! I also enjoyed their model.. Miss "B"... Amanda did you teach her all her camera moves? :-)

I had a great time taking pictures of these cousins! Two sisters... 5 kids. LOTS OF FUN!

Miss K

I enjoyed taking pictures of Miss K. She was a natural!!! It was my first time to meet her and her mom. They were fun to hang out with! We enjoyed the gardens down at UT... they are beautiful!

Inspiration

This family amazes me. They are such an inspiration. They have adopted 3 children. 2 from Guatemala and one from Ethiopia.

Today was their little girl's day! Miss "L" had a photo shoot and she was on the move! I loved chasing her around with my camera. I felt like paparazzi. It was so much fun!

We had such a hard time getting the Ethiopian head band on Miss L. The hard work paid off... This is my favorite picture of the day (above).

We had to take a few pictures of her adorable older brothers. Here's the oldest.... Mr. J... he's so photogenic and had lots of posing ideas for me. Hey Mr. J... are you free to be my assistant. I could use you on my photo shoots!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE... it is PURE JOY! And this smile.... doesn't it just melt your heart???


This family is so dear to my heart because they are part of our story. Just over a year ago we met them for the first time. We had dinner at their house to hear their adoption story of Miss L. When we left that night, we felt the Lord say "IT IS TIME!" and we started our adoption process. We brought our son home 6 months ago! Thank you guys for allowing the Lord to use you in mighty ways!

These boys are some good looking kids! And their mom is BEAUTIFUL too. She is a dear friend of mine. We had a great time playing at the park and capturing the FUN her boys were having.

This is so "O". He is not yet 5 years old and he can read. He is such a smart boy! We looked over and he had sat down to rest and read a book.

You've Got the Cutest Little Baby Face

How precious is this red head? Her mom is a friend of mine and we had a great time doing this shoot in my front yard. My friend asked me if my neighbors ever come out and think I've gone crazy (you should hear the noises I make to get the babies to look my way). haha! They have come out... and when they have, I've taken pictures of them too.

(Above)... This sweet baby's mom didn't even realize the basket matched her outfit PERFECTLY. They were made out of the same material. How funny is that?

Senior '09

I remember when I was in Middle School seeing this little boy at a football game with a shirt on that said "Class of 2000" (This was back in the mid 80's) and I thought... that is FOREVER from now! Well... This precious girl is class of 2009. TIME FLIES!

I had a great time with Carrie and her sister Janie. I have known Janie for almost 5 years now. Her sister is just as beautiful as she is!

Birth Story

Engagement - Part 2

City meets country! She's CITY and he's COUNTRY. Last time we did their pictures we did them here. I told Kristin when she got back from young life camp (from being on work crew), I wanted to do more pictures. We went to down town last night and had a blast taking pictures. Here's a sneak peak for the precious couple. My youngest daughter is going to be the flower girl in their wedding. We are so honored that they would include her (and our family) in their special day. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

SPUNK!

How adorable is this little one? She was a hoot to photograph. When I think of her... the word SPUNK comes to mind. I wish I could live a little more like this child. SHE LIVES LIFE TO THE FULLEST!

Meet Charlotte... She is seriously like the little sister I never had. I adore her! Well, she is moving to a new place and informed me that she wanted pictures with my kids to hang in her room. SO... PICTURE TIME! We had a photo shoot tonight. It was very impromptu and we had a great time! My husband and Charlotte's boyfriend came a long and so it was a full adventure! Lots of fun! My kids call Charlotte "Aunt Charli". They adore her... but watch out Charlotte... I think the kids are seriously diggin' CRITTER (that's Char's boyfriend).

I love this snuggle picture (below). At first, I wished I could see Charlotte's face better but whats a GOOD SNUGGLE if you aren't super close to each other... right?

It is challenging to get 4 kids to look and smile but this is PRETTY CLOSE!

Won't You Meet My Neighbors...

This adorable brother and sister live on my street. How cute are they?!!! I had a GREAT time tonight shooting their pics. Then their mom treated us all to Sonic drinks! HOW FUN!!

SURPRISE!!!

These precious kids (ok, they aren't kids... :-) surprised their mom and dad (who are DEAR friends of ours) with a photo shoot for their 25th wedding anniversary.

My precious friend, Becky is expecting her 3rd child. She looks amazing in her 9th month of pregnancy. Pretty pretty lady! Her son is due any day now. He is the third boy born to this sweet family.

This adorable baby girl is just one month old. I had such a great time visiting with her mom while I took pictures. This baby girl looks just like her momma to me. Her parents think she looks like their older daughter... any way you look at... SHE IS A BEAUTY!

This has to be the most photogentic little girl! We have done two photo shoots. I literally could pick every picture of her as my favorite. It's not because I am good at what I do... It's because this little girl is a DOLL!

These kids are dear to my heart. I met MG when she was just 6 days old (She's the oldest in the picture below). We moved to TN from TX with this precious family to do a church plant. Their newest arrival isn't pictured in this post... He will have a post all of HIS OWN! He's a cutie!

Cooper!

Cooper's mommy and I sent our husbands out for a movie and had some fun of our own shooting this HANDSOME baby boy! This eyes are amazing! I'm use to looking at brown eyes around my house... this little guy (ok, BIG little guy) is one precious babe!

I just love this couple! This was my first "official" photo shoot. I have known Kristin for several years and have had the privilege of mentoring her. She is IN LOVE and we couldn't be more thrilled with her HUSBAND TO BE! We are so excited for this couple and can't wait until they tie the KNOT! They were set to get married in May but just moved it up to October!
